Planning & Research Fee Terms & Conditions

By purchasing personalized planning services from Resorts for 5, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Planning & Research Fee

A $50 Planning & Research Fee is required before personalized trip research and planning begins.

The fee compensates Resorts for 5 for the professional time, research, and expertise involved in creating recommendations specifically for your family.

The Planning & Research Fee is non-refundable once paid, including if you decide not to move forward with a trip or ultimately choose not to book through Resorts for 5.

$50 Booking Credit

When you book the qualifying vacation associated with your planning request through Resorts for 5, your $50 Planning & Research Fee will be credited toward your trip.

The credit:

Applies only to the trip for which the planning fee was originally paid.

Has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Is not transferable to another traveler.

Is applied only when the qualifying trip is booked through Resorts for 5.

If you choose not to book through Resorts for 5, the Planning & Research Fee will not be refunded.

What's Included

Your Planning & Research Fee includes:

Personalized resort and room recommendations based on the information provided in your trip inquiry

Research into appropriate room configurations and occupancy requirements

Research into current pricing and availability

A curated proposal with recommended options for your family

One reasonable round of adjustments to your recommendations

One-on-one planning support, including the option to schedule a planning call

Your recommendations are based on the travel dates, destination preferences, budget, family details, and priorities provided in your original inquiry.

Changes to Your Trip

I understand that plans can change.

Reasonable adjustments to your original trip request are included in your planning service.

However, significant changes—including a new destination, substantially different travel dates, a significant change in budget, or a change that requires the trip to be researched again—may be considered a new planning request and may require an additional Planning & Research Fee.

If an additional fee is necessary, you will be notified before any additional research begins.

Pricing & Availability

Travel pricing and availability can change at any time.

Quotes, room availability, promotions, and other travel components presented during the planning process are not guaranteed until the applicable reservation has been booked and confirmed.

Resorts for 5 cannot guarantee that an option included in your proposal will remain available at the same price while you are considering your choices.

Recommendations

Resort and room recommendations are made based on the information and preferences you provide, along with available information at the time of research.

While every effort is made to recommend options that are a strong fit for your family, individual experiences and preferences vary, and specific resort experiences, amenities, services, construction, policies, and other conditions may change.

Booking, Cancellation & Supplier Terms

Once travel is booked, your reservation will also be subject to the terms, conditions, payment schedules, cancellation policies, and change policies of the applicable travel supplier(s).

Any supplier cancellation penalties or non-refundable amounts are separate from the Resorts for 5 Planning & Research Fee.

The $50 Planning & Research Fee remains non-refundable, even if you later cancel your booked vacation.

Client Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing the details of your proposal and reservation—including traveler names, dates, room type, destination, and other booking information—and notifying Resorts for 5 promptly of any errors or requested changes.

Travelers are also responsible for ensuring they have all required passports, identification, visas, health documentation, and other documentation necessary for travel.

Agreement

By submitting payment for the $50 Planning & Research Fee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Planning & Research Fee Terms & Conditions and authorize Resorts for 5 to begin personalized research and planning for your trip.
